Host Nations of Other Commonwealth Games
In the early years, there were many nations that played host to the Other Commonwealth Games. In the first Commonwealth Games held in 1930, the host nation was Hamilton, Canada, followed by London, England in 1934 and Sydney, Australia in 1938. The games scheduled for 1942 and 1946 were interrupted as a result of the Second World War. The 4th Commonwealth Games was held in New Zealand in Auckland in 1950. The 5th Commonwealth Games was held in 1954 in Vancouver followed by it being held Cardiff in 1958. Subsequent Commonwealth Games were held in Kingston (1966), Edinburg (1970), Christchurch (1974), Edmonton (1978), Brisbane (1982) and many more.
