1990 Commonwealth Games

The 1990 Commonwealth Games were held in Auckland, New Zealand. It was officially inaugurated by Prince Edward on 24th January and the Games were wrapped up on 3rd February 1990. The 1990 Commonwealth Games were the 14th Commonwealth Games. It also happened to coincide with New Zealand's 1990 sesquicentennial celebrations. As many as 2073 athletes from 55 nations of the Commonwealth participated in 205 events under 10 sports.
