New Sports Program of 2010 Commonwealth Games
The triathlon sports event is possibly to be excluded from the list of games as there is no suitable location for the swimming phase. The organizers of the 2010 Commonwealth Games have also proposed to remove the game of basketball, and want to include archery, billiards, tennis, and snooker for men participants. Although cricket is in strong demand, it may not be included as the Board of Control for Cricket in India do not express any interest on a Twenty20 tournament and the organizers do not want any one-day tournament.
